Course Information
COSHH Training – Under the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations, 2002, every business needs a COSHH assessment, and if the business employs five or more employees, the assessment needs to be documented.

COSHH Training – for further guidance and practical advice on the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002 please visit the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) section on COSHH Guidance and Advice.
If the business is small, then a nominated, competent person will need to write the assessment. If the business is large, then each department will need an assessment.
Knowing what substances are harmful is tricky. Most businesses will use substances or products that are mixtures, and some of these have the potential to cause harm to employees, contractors, and other people.
Some substances can even be created by processes that occur in the workplace, and it’s important to understand if and when this can happen in your workplace.
